DescriptionAn oval-shaped medal with a hole punched through at the top. The medal originally belonged to Morgan B. Brainard, the Director of United Aircraft Corporation (now United Technologies Corporation). The front of the medal has images of propeller wings, the emblem of Pratt and Whitney, and wings. The symbols are surrounded by a wreath. Inscribed around the edge is: "UNITED AIRCRAFT CORPORATION/ EAST HARTFORD CONN." The reverse side is engraved with Morgan B. Brainard's name.
