The dressing gown has a wide shawl collar of the blue and tan striped lining fabric. It opens for the length of the center front, with no apparent means of closure. The two-piece sleeves are cut in the coat style, with wide cuffs turned back to show the blue and tan striped fabric; they are slightly gathered into the shoulder.
