DescriptionBlack and white portrait of a young couple created by Edward D. Ritton of Danbury, Connecticut August 25, 1853. In a molded cardboard case covered in think leather, with a central medallion on the front with four blooms, surrounded by elaboate ribbon design border. Edges decorated in gold. Image is within a gold-toned frame set into the case. On the frame is imprinted "E.D. Ritton." Some image loss along the lower margin.
