DescriptionWoman's bodice of black and white silk gingham, with a high, round neckline and dropped shoulderline. The sleeves have been removed, but the piping around each armhole remains. The center front opening fastens with seven domed buttons covered with black grosgrain silk. The bodice extends to the hips and is dipped at center front and center back. A small section of black bobbin lace remains between the lower two buttonholes. The bodice is lined with brown cotton. The front darts and side seams are boned.
