Skinner, an ancestor of Daniel Burnap, who left in his will in 1918 $5000 to build and fund a public library. The library was to be named the Burnap-Skinner Memorial Library and turned over to the town of Andover once it was completed. The Burnap-Skinner Memorial Library was dedicated in 1927 and still stands, as the Andover Public Library.
