DescriptionLengths of plain and patterned silks are displayed in an alcove roped off by a satin ribbon. Some hang from the ceiling. Others are draped over chairs and a bed or tied to lamps. The chairs appear to be upholstered with silk and the sheets and pillowcases on the bed appear to be made of silk. One of the lamps has a fringed shade.
