He was born in Portland, Connecticut and attended Middletown High School and Yale University before obtaining his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University. He served as a first lieutenant during World War I in a neuro-surgical unit that performed operations near the battlefront. He was living on Ledyard Road in West Hartford when died in 1968 at the age of 85..On View
