DescriptionFive men in an office interior. All wear suits. Some wear hats. Two wear badges on their overcoats. A man with a beard sits in swivel chair at a table. Another stands by a ledger on a counter. Shelves with books line both sides of the room. Prints, including a birds-eye view of the Bulkeley Bridge, are on the brick wall between the shelves and counter. A light, apparently an electric light with a shade, hangs from the ceiling on a wire. A stove pipe is in the left background. Inscribed on back: "East Hartford / Town Clerks Office / Joseph O. Goodwin / seated at table."
