NotesSubject Note: Louis R. Cheney was a superintendant at Cheney Brothers silk mill, 34 Morgan Street, Hartford, and resided at 230 Main Street, Hartford. John Dwight Parker was employed by Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, 291 Main Street, Hartford. According to Mary Cheney, the subject of the photograph is a New Year's Eve party at the Parker home, 183 Sigourney Street, Hartford. Caroline Goodwin Parker is at far right. John Dwight Parker is in the first row, second from left. Louis R. Cheney is the man with the black beard and mustache.
