DescriptionFlat overshoe of black rubber coating a white knitted cotton lining. Narrow, rounded square toe, straight "sole," very long vamp. The overshoe is crushed and very stiff, so other details, such as the shape of the throatline, cannot be seen. The bottom of the shoe is one with the upper--there is no separate sole; it is impressed with a small-scale diamond mesh design. The back of the shoe is punched with a small hole, through which is threaded the short remnant of a brown string.
