DescriptionView, looking west, of the skyscraper CityPlace under construction. Two large cranes are on top of the structure of steel beams and girders. A sign on the sidewalk reads: "CITY PLACE [sic]" Automobiles and trucks are parked along Trumbull Street, in the foreground, and Pearl Street, at the left. The Hartford Civic Center is visible at the far right. The spire of St. Joseph's Cathedral and the Metacomet Ridge are in the background.
