DescriptionDark blue organdy dress with eyelet-embroidered shawl collar, which is crossed across the chest, with the ends stitched down at the waistline. The short sleeves end in self-fabric ruffles. The skirt is made up of eyelet-embroidered center front and back panels, flanked on the side with plain panels. All of the panel seams are edged with self-fabric ruffles. The bottom edge of the skirt is scalloped. The dress is loosely fitted so it pulls over the head. It would have been worn over an opaque underdress or slip.
