DescriptionDriver seated in a Buick delivery truck parked on an urban street. A sign on the side of the truck reads: "H.S. Utley / 299 Blue Hills Ave. / Milk No. 140." The manufacturer's name is below the driver's seat. There are milk cans in the back of the truck. A young man wearing a cap, vest and tie stands by the truck holding a small milk can and a dipper.

Subject Note: Herbert S. Utley is listed as a milkman in the 1916 Hartford city directory. Charles H. Utley and Martin T. Utley were both farmers on Blue Hills Avenue.
