DescriptionWoman's slip of ecru silk satin. The slip is constructed of a length of silk, sewn into a tube so that the selvages provide the finish on the top and bottom edges. Deep knife pleats are taken on each side. The top is edged with a 2 3/4-inch-wide band of filet lace in a rose pattern. A rectangular panel of this lace is set at center front. Silk ribbons are used for the shoulder straps. Horizontal darts are taken from the side seams to fit the bust.
