DescriptionMan and four women at picket fence in front of two-story Federal style house; one-story ell with porch. Man in suspenders and hat is holding long handled picker tool in a planted field. Women stand in a lane on opposite side of fence than the man; the lane has fence on either side. House has rectangular gable window and gable end front door is on right. There appears to be a slab of marble standing on the ell porch where a piece of roof is missing. There are decorative plants in the front yard. A one-story barn is to the rear of the house and appears to be attached to it by a smaller outbuilding. Inscription on back: "W. D. Lewis / A damned crank" "Watertown Envelope."
