DescriptionElderly man holding a horse and elderly woman wearing an apron, seated in a chair. A young man stands leaning on the picket fence in front of a two-story house with a small side porch and additions at the rear. Several outbuildings are to the right. The tallest tree appears to be an elm.

Subject Note: Although Southwick is located in Massachusetts, a portion of the town dips below the Connecticut border in the Southwick Jog. During Colonial times, the area was the subject a boundary dispute between Massachusetts and Connecticut.
