DescriptionNative Americans dancing around fire. Text reads: "Led on by their priests, or Powaws, the Indians shouted and danced around a large fire, in a wild and fantastic manner, often sacrificing their choicest treasures, by throwing them into the fire. The Wepawaug or Milford Indians were the most noted for these practices."
