DescriptionThe "Webb House" in Wethersfield, the home of Martin Wells Esq. There is a row of "Cherry" trees in front of the house that is separated from the street by a picket fence. A notation at the top of the drawing refers to lime trees on the premises at the time of the Revolution. This dwelling was used by George Washington during his stay in Wethersfield for a meeting of officers of the French and American Army.
