DescriptionDrawing of State Street in downtown Hartford, Connecticut, from an elevated perspective. First National Bank / Hartford Savings Bank is in the center, with the Harvey and Lewis Building at the far end of the block on the corner of Main Street. In between are the buildings housing Honiss Oyster House, the Regal Theater, W.T. Grant's, and more. Between First National Bank and Market Street, there are several unidentified buildings. Pedestrians are depicted on State and Main Streets. In the background, the Sheraton Hotel (subsequently the Hilton), the Sage-Allen sign over the Sage-Allen Building, and several other buildings.
