DescriptionDrawing of Pearl Street in downtown Hartford, Connecticut, picturing the construction of City Place and, from left to right on the left side of the drawing, the Hartford Electric Light Company Building, Plimpton Building (housing Dillon Mailing Service), 234 Pearl Street and the Goodwin Building. On the right side of the street are the Hartford Fire Department Headquarters and 249 Pearl Street (housing Davis Printing and Copy Center), with Connecticut National Bank visible in the background. City Place is only partly constructed and several cranes are pictured. Automobiles are parked on the left side of Pearl Street and several pedestrians are on the sidewalks on both sides of the street.
