DescriptionWoman's white cotton day dress, with broad neckline and leg-o'-mutton sleeves. The bodice is gathered horizontally, emphasizing the width of the dropped shoulderline. The bodice seams are piped, as are the inside sleeve and wrist opening seams. The waistline is slightly high, measuring five inches under the arm. The skirt is full; it is knife-pleated into the bodice. The dress opens at center back and fastens with brass hooks and eyes. The hem is lined for nine inches with self-fabric.
