She is wearing an Elizabethan-style dress that is edged with ribbon and has ruffled cuffs at the end of the sleeves. She is wearing a shawl and a long necklace, and has a ruff around her neck. Her hands are on her hips. The double doors to the house are closed behind her. There is a lantern hangning from the potico over the porch.
