DescriptionA large brick school building in located on a street corner. The large building features two wings extended out from a center section. Atop the center section, a clock tower with a balustrade around its top is featured. The clock reads "12:35." Trash cans are on the sidewalk at the corner of the street. A fire hydrant is in the foreground. Leafless trees line the streets in front of the school.

NotesSubject Note: The Second North District School Building was designed by Cook, Hapgood, and Company and erected in 1891. It was later used by the Hartford Board of Education. An ill-advised attempt to renovate the building in 2010 led to its collapse. It was rebuilt in the same style to house Hartford's Public Safety complex.On View
