DescriptionLarge metal timeclock made by Stromberg Time Corporation, of Thomaston, Connecticut. Standing time clock with rectangular base, horizontal slot at center for time cards, and curved top with analog clock in center. Back of timeclock is one solid metal piece which holds together the base with the top of the clock; black metal plaque is attached to the bottom back, printed across in white, "STROMBERG / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MARCA REGISTRADA / TIME CORPORATION / THOMASTON, CONN. / MADE IN U.S.A. PAT. NO. 2214796 / IMPRINT INST. TIMING / 115 60 80 115 60 4 / V CY W V CY W / MODEL 36". Off-white rubber electrical cord attaches to back, engraved across, "UL / HEY CO / MADE IN U.S.A.". Attached to bottom of base are four adjustable rubber pad feet. Center front of base has, "Stromberg," printed across in black; below this is an oval metal plaque, engraved across, "13512". Above base is a space separating it from the top; here a timecard would be inserted. Top of timeclock forms to a curve and is removable to reveal the inside of clock. Center of top has a glass covered analog clock, numbered 1-12 in black, with a metal border; printed across clock, "STROMBERG / MADE IN U.S.A.". Below clock is a red vertical line and on either side are two circular holes. Right side of top has a lock with a removable key. Brass key is attached to a rusted paper clip and round piece of paper with a thin metal border; engraved on one side of key, "CANADA / CGI"; engraved on opposite side, "GUILD / INDUSTRIES / Guild".
