DescriptionWood and rubber stamp. The stamp handle and body are made of wood stained with red stain. The stamp handle is cylindrical in shape with a larger head and tapered neck. The head is flat on one side and has white printed lettering that reads: "HARTFORD / STAMP / WORKS / 201 LOCUS ST. / HARTFORD / 249-6205". The rubber stamp is attached to the underside of the wood rectangular body. The stamp reads: "RICHARD WELLING / 74 UNION PLACE / HARTFORD, CT 06103".
