DescriptionAward plaque with a gold plate screwed onto wooden backing. Wood portion has five-tiered grooved edging, the back has a circular hole for hanging. Screwed onto front of wood is a gold plate which has two tied back gold relief curtains at top corners and reach half-way down plate. Engraved across plate, "ITALIAN AMERICAN HOME / OF HARTFORD, INC. / 1963 / ANNUAL AWARD / PRESENTED TO / FERDINAND D'ESOPO / AT / HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT / OCTOBER 26, 1963".
