DescriptionCream colored silk dress (.a) with matching under skirt (.b).
(a.) Silk dress with princess seams. Lace at neckline with white silk covered buttons along center front, with pleated silk and lace on either side; opens to reveal petticoat. Deep cuffs on arms with pleated band, lace, and silk covered buttons. Grey ribbon bows at neckline, wrists, and bottom center front. Back has a slight bustle accented with ruching sides; bottom trimmed in lace.
(b.) Cream silk under skirt. There are two hooks for a waist band closure, pleated in the front with cartridge pleating in back. One panel at lower center front, with pleating and ruching. Along bottom 12", three rows of pleating. Has a back train, with a pleated cotton paneled underside, trimmed in lace. Lower portion of skirt is bound in wool with a cotton net lining.
