NotesSubject Note: The Tenth Connecticut Volunteer Infantry mustered in on 30 September , 1861 and mustered out on 5 September 1865. This man is identified as a member of the Tenth on the basis of the number "10" on his cap. His photograph was taken by a Norwalk photograher, and since not many men from Norwalk served with the Tenth, it might be possible to come up with a tentative identification.
