DescriptionHalf-length portraits of a young woman and a middle-aged man in separate oval metal mats, incorporating what appear to be lyres in the corners. The woman is wearing a dress with a separate white collar and a brooch. The man is wearing a jacket, a satin vest, a shirt, a necktie, and eyeglasses. The case has a design of two birds perched on a basket of flowers surrounded by a cartouche with a floral border.
