DescriptionTable with round turned dish top with a double beaded outside edge joined to a shaped cleat from below. The cleat features the remains of the original spring catch mechanism and is cut out to hold the slide-through drawer. The drawer features straight ends with a single cast brass pull. The cleat is joined from below to the bulbous turned standard that features a prominent compressed disk element over a long tapered trumpet turning over a deep cove, over a second compressed disk element,over a cove supported by an ogee over the straight cylindrical base. The base features a serpentine shaped lower edge and is intersected by the three cabriole legs. The legs feature the shell carving of a central punch surrounded by a half round bead flanked by seven flutes surrounded by a half round scribe line intersected by a serpentine scribe line. The legs continue into tapered ankles and swelled shaped feet with small carved under-pads.

Taylor and was willed to her by / her great aunt Mary Taylor whos father / Samuel and his wife Sally Pemberton / Taylor were the original owners. / Ada is the daughter of Samuel the son of Edwin the son of Samuel / October 1902"
