Description[A silk on silk pictorial needlework in a partially finished state showing the under drawing in pencil and changes to the composition of figures in a landscape. The original design appears to have shown three female figures with sheep to the left and a young woman and young man to the right in front of a building. The changes to the design place trees to the left, over one figure's face, a change to the stance of the woman in the center and the addition of a classical soldier with feathered cap to the right in front of the building. The scene is set within a circular center with plain white silk exposed in the corners. Some evidence of stitching that has been pulled out is visible in the corners.]
