DescriptionPolicemen wearing uniforms stand or walk in the foreground. Two men hold rifles. One man wears a helmet. A crowd of men and women, mostly African-Americans, is on the sidewalk in the background in front of brick buildings, one with signs that read: "Coca-Cola" "JARVINS DRUG STORE - PRESCRIPTIONS" "JARVINS / Coca-Cola". Between the buildings, laundry hangs from a clothesline. The back of a truck is at the right. The pavement in the foreground appears to be wet.
