DescriptionFormal group portrait of twenty-five women. Those in front are seated on the floor; those in the middle row are seated in chairs or on stools; those in the back row are standing. Some wear elaborate hats with floral decorations. Some wear eyeglasses. Most women have peacock feathers pinned to the shoulders of their dresses.
