NotesSubject Note: Sarah C. Luscomb (1901-1995) was the owner and curator of the Just Buttons Museum. She began collecting buttons in 1938 after listening to a radio broadcast. In 1953, she opened the museum in one room of her 1750 home in Southington. The museum closed about 1978, when Mrs. Luscomb moved to Texas following the death of her husband. (Finlay 3/3/2011)
