Container is a thin, tan tube with silver label around center. Label consists of opening directions, stamp of approval, and product name and description; right edge of label is bordered in black, printed across in white, "OPEN AT OTHER END / This tube contains 24 sheets, each 20 inches by 30 inches"; left edge of label is also bordered in black, printed across in white, "OPEN AT THIS END / This tube contains 24 sheets, each 20 inches by 30 inches"; below this is a white stamp of approval with a red star in the center, printed across in black, "Tested and Approved / SERIAL NO. 3053 / by Good Housekeeping / Institute / Conducted by / GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE"; horrizontal across center of label, a black and yellow striped design with the product name and description printed across, along with trade mark; printed across three black strips, "STAYBRITE / PATENTED"; printed across three yellow strips, "PROTECTS SILVERWARE / AGAINST TARNISH / WRAP TIGHTLY / TO EXCLUDE AIR / NO TARNISH TISSUE PAPER / Staybrite is chemically treated, patented tissue paper. Excellent prevention against tarnish of silverware or other bright metal surfaces / and metal used in shoes. Several thicknesses of paper increases the protection. / Fold ends securely and do not use rubber bands. / MADE BY C. H. DEXTER & SONS, INC., WINDSOR LOCKS, CONN. / Paper makers since 1835"; red trade mark, printed at center of one of the yellow stripes contains a white star at the top, printed below, "DEXSTAR / TRADE MARK". One end has a round, removeable lid with a white department store sticker on the top; printed across top of sticker in black, "Frederick Loeser & Co. INC. / BROOKLYN, N. Y. GARDEN STATE"; stamped below this, "26 8 / C5 242 / .39".
