DescriptionWoman's day dress of sheer, white cotton, printed with lavender undulating floral stripes and scattered floral sprays. The neckline is wide. The fashion fabric of the bodice is gathered over the fitted plain-woven white cotton lining, which has boned darts and seams. The bell sleeves are flounced at the shoulder, mid-way along the length and at the opening. The neckline and armscye seams are piped. The shoulderline is dropped. The skirt is closely gathered into the 1 1/8-inch-wide waistband. The skirt is unlined, except for a three-inch width of sheer white cotton around the bottom. There is a watch pocket set below the waistband on the proper left side. The dress closes at center front with brass hooks and eyes.
