DescriptionFive women are seated at a circular table. A girl is seated beside the woman at the left, on the same chair. One of the women is pouring tea from a tea pot and handing a cup and saucer to a man who stands behind her. Two small pitchers on a dish, and plates with food, including what appear to be cookies, are on the table. Additional men stand behind the table; one looks back into a second room where men and women stand in a crowd together. Drapery and a paneled wall or screen are at the right. An oriental urn is on a table at the left. Striped carpet is on the floor.
