DescriptionThe two photographs are of the interior of the First Congregational Church, in Enfield Connecticut. In photograph 2007.36.4 the foucus is of the pulpit, which has two identical chairs on either side. The chairs and pulpit are in between two Greek Corinthian colums. On either side of the columns are a door, the door on the right side of the photograph has a clock above it. The door on the left side has an organ next to it. Rows of pews, with the hymnals dominate the lower part of the photograph, and on either side of the church there is a balcony. Two lamps, one of which is shown in photograph 2007.36.5, are to the right and the left of the pulpit. The lamp post shown in photograh 2007.36.5 is a single lamp post with a glass covering. The lamp post looks very similar to the Corinthian columns which dominate the first photograph.
