DescriptionThis mask is covered with a pale blue silk satin fabric on the front. Two 1/4-inch metal grommets are set at each side of the mask. 1/4-inch pale blue rib-woven silk ribbon has been attached at each grommet, tying together to fit the wearer. The base of the mask is made from a starched, white, plain-woven cotton, molded to fit over the nose and eyebrows.

Peirce Eddy (Mrs. Lawrence Eddy) for several events between 1932-1960. The costume featured headdress 2001.49.2 and an altered dress, originally worn by Mary Hall Tuckerman about 1862.
