The young girl is Susan, Sylvia's daughter. Eleanor Rooselvelt had met Sylvia Patricelli, an artist married to a Hartford resident, and recommended her to Beatrice Fox Auerbach to advise her on showing her artwork. The exhibition took place in Centinel Hill Hall at G. Fox & Co. in 1951.Collections
