No ___"NotesObject Note: This photograph was taken on the occasion of Eleanor Roosevelt attending the art opening of Sylvia Patricelli, the woman at the right of the image. The young girl is Susan, Sylvia's daughter. Eleanor Rooselvelt had met Sylvia Patricelli, an artist married to a Hartford resident, and recommended her to Beatrice Fox Auerbach to advise her on showing her artwork. The exhibition took place in Centinel Hill Hall at G. Fox & Co. in 1951.
