Paper printed in maroon on a white background in a geometric vine and leaf pattern is affixed to the sides of the box and the lid. Affixed to one end of the box (a.) is a small paper label printed in black with a decorative border that reads, "2 Gro. SILVERED. No. 3." White paper has been pasted onto the bottom of the box.
