DescriptionRectangular pasteboard box (.a) and lid (.b) covered with yellow paper. Paper printed in maroon on a white background in a geometric vine and leaf pattern is affixed to the sides of the box and the lid. A label affixed to the top of the lid is printed in black with a border and heavy decoration that reads, "SUPERIOR QUALITY / HOOKS & EYES. / Manufactured by / S. J. NORTH & CO. / NEW BRITAIN, CONN." Affixed to one end of the box (a.) is a small paper label printed in black with a decorative border that reads, "2 Gro. SILVERED. No. 3." White paper has been pasted onto the bottom of the box.
