DescriptionDark green velvet brimless cap with earflaps. The sides are gathered into a disk on top to create the crown. This disk and a band around the bottom are decorated with gold soutache. The earflaps tie with green silk ribbon. The cap is lined with red, blue, and white silk plaid.

NotesHistorical Note: Tags preserved with cap indicate that it was previously owned by the donor's mother, Doane S. Peirce Eddy (Mrs. Lawrence Eddy), and her mother, Mrs. Robert D. Peirce.
