DescriptionThe main street of a town is submerged beneath flood waters. A service station with gas pumps, an air pump, and a sign that reads "TYDOL / A" is in the foreground of one photograph. Another sign reads: "BRISTOL / BANK AND TRUST." Electric lights and utility poles line the street. An automobile is upside in the middle of the street. Frame buildings, one of them with the striped pole of a barber shop, are in the background. A crowd of people stand on a hill in the left background. Signs in the other photograph read: "Gift Shop" "Restaurant" "Franks" "Edward's MENS / SHOP" "KING COLE CLEAN[ERS]" Some buildings have awnings. A man or boy wearing a jacket stands in the left foreground. Trees are in the background.
