DescriptionCanvaswork picture worked in red, light and medium pink, dark blue, blue-green, light blue, brown and white crewel, or two ply worsted threads, on a plain-woven canvas ground using a tent stitch. At the bottom of the picture is stitched "Content Denison 1764". The picture is rectangular, oriented horizontally. The picture consists of three large red and pink flowers, and smaller white and blue flowers, on vines with leaves. Near the bottom are two hills bearing strawberries and other fruits. The canvaswork picture is in a black painted frame with gold borders (replaced).

Condition: There is some loss to the brown crewel, revealing the canvas ground beneath. The crewel has faded. The frame is replaced.
