NotesSubject Note: R. Moore & Sons manufactured hydraulic cement at this site in Kensington for 25 or 30 years, ending between 1850 and 1860. Here they made 150 barrels of cement for use in the construction of the family home, the Stonehouse, begun in 1860 and completed in 1861. (Finlay 9/21/2006)
