DescriptionBlack leather ski boots, above-ankle length, with the top edge padded and bound with black leather. The boots are seamed at the the center front at the toes, then the two sides are open, but overlap. The boot closes by a shoelace strung through a series of sturdy metal hooks. The tongue is set at an angle from the top of the boot to cover the front of the ankle. The boot has a lining, also of leather, that is separate from the upper. It also laces closed, but through metal eyelets. The tongue of this lining is padded. The boot has a thick, welted sole, with the heel raised slightly above the front of the foot. The sole is built up of several layers of leather, with a bottom layer of rubber, molded with zig-zag treads. A strip of yellow reflective tape is stuck to the center back of each boot.
