DescriptionRectangular, bulging covered storage basket made of plain-woven ash and oak. The round to oval rim is single wrapped and double reinforced, with half-round interior and exterior reinforcement. The basket has a fancy ring handle. The warp and weft splints are medium to wide. The basket is decorated with tight geometric, floral, and possibly pictorial designs, such as butterflies and flowers, in brown and Mohegan pink.

The convex cover (.b) is Paugusett. It has the same Mohegan pink detail as the body of the basket.
