The New England Brewing Co.

American, founded 1989
Biography: The New England Brewing Company opened in 1989 on Commerce Street in South Norwalk, Connecticut. Then in 1995, the owners opened a restaurant and moved the brewery to join it on Marshall Street in South Norwalk. In 2001, the brewery made an even bigger move when ownership changed hands and it was bought out by Rob Leonard who re-located it to Woodbridge, Connecticut. Now nestled on the New Haven line the new owners continue to make their Gold Medal Award winning Atlantic Amber as well as their Gold Stock Ale and their newest Elm City Lager (In celebration of it’s new roots in the Elm City!).
