Herald Potter
Biography: Herald J. Potter was born in Harwinton, Connecticut, in 1798. It is unknown when he moved to Bristol, but in 1835, he was made an elector in that town. He trained as a clock case maker, but founded a melodeon-making business in Bristol in 1849. His business remained productive until the factory was bought by the Bristol Saw Company in 1863.
